If I'm not mistaken, the regular military sites actually do end in ".mil." It is the recruiting sites that end in ".com" presumably making them easier to find.

My question: At the corner of Man O'War and
Richmond Rd there is a lot of activity going on...
i.e.; dirt moving and clearing of land. What is going
to take place there.....houses, business...?
Just curiours because there are not signs indicating
what is going to be built on the corner.
Thanks for your answer. I'll be watching to see
the answer in the Herald.

Any news on when the Parkette will reopen (if ever)? The new owners said they would reopen for Spring but there has been no new (apparent) activity at the location in quite some time.

Thanks in advance!

Isn't that what the employees are being paid by the hour to do?
Just another fund raiser.
I could see charging for the cost of the stamp and the envelope but that's not $2.

Elizabeth,

I can answer that one for you. Since glass is made out of sand and there is no shortage of sand, recyclers are not taking glass items since there is no cost effective way to recycle it.
